RBL were able to welcome six young talents and a group of fans from abroad to Leipzig for an unforgettable experience!
In recent days, a delegation from the New York Red Bulls and fans of Red Bull Bragantino came to visit the Cottaweg in Leipzig.
Talented youngsters from the USA
- Six talented young players from the New York Red Bulls were able to train with RBL’s academy sides during the course of their trip. They were also able to get an exclusive insight into what goes on behind the scenes at our training ground, from cognitive tests to physio screenings, and even got to train with the Soccerbot.
The NYRB coaches and staff members were able to discuss with our academy staff on various topics ranging from organisational structures and match philosophies to cognitive training, coaching and player development.
The highlight of the trip for the nine-person delegation was being able to attend a home game at the Red Bull Arena and watch as RBL celebrated a 3-1 win against SC Freiburg. The group was able to get special pitchside access around the game and enjoy the match from an RBL VIP box.

Brazilian flair in Leipzig
- Six fans of Brazilian-based club Red Bull Bragantino had the opportunity to gain exclusive, behind the scenes insights into RB Leipzig. The fans had collected the most points as part of an internal club loyalty program and won a trip to Europe as a result.
The ‘Europe Experience’ aims to provide participating fans with a unique experience, while also deepening the connection between the clubs in the Red Bull Football Network (RB Leipzig, New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Bragantino) and intensifying their collaboration on a global level.
The Brazilian fans were able to spend four days in Leipzig. In addition to taking part of a tour of the academy and stadium, they also watch our women’s team play at the Cottaweg and our men’s team take on SC Freiburg at the Red Bull Arena. The highlight of the trip was a meet & greet with Portugal’s Fabio Carvalho.
