RB Leipzig gets European Cup Final

For the first time!

For the first time ever, a European cup final will be played in Leipzig in 2026. RB Leipzig has been awarded the bid to host the final in the UEFA Conference League. The decision was announced by the UEFA Executive Committee at its meeting in Dublin.

The DFB applied for three locations to host European finals in 2026 and 2027. In addition to Leipzig for the UEFA Conference League Final, Frankfurt was in the running for the UEFA Europa League and Stuttgart for the UEFA Women’s Champions League. The final of the Europa League will take place in Frankfurt in 2027.
