#FCHRBL: RBL sets Bundesliga record run!

The Red Bulls won 2-1 at 1. FC Heidenheim on Bundesliga Matchday 30 and are now in the fight for fourth place. Here you can find all the facts! 

PERSONNEL FACTS

• A change in the starting line-up: David Raum returned to the starting line-up after serving a yellow card suspension for Mohamed Simakan and started on his usual left side. Benjamin Henrichs moved back to the right-back position.
   
• Assistant coaches Alexander Zickler and Marco Kurth took over coaching from the dugout during the 90 minutes for the suspended Marco Rose.
   
• Xavi played his 40th competitive game for RBL. The 20-year-old’s outstanding record: 9 goals, 14 assists.
   
• Benjamin Henrichs was the only Leipziger to be cautioned with a yellow card – his third of the current season.

• RB Leipzig remains undefeated against Bundesliga newcomers! In our 32 Bundesliga games against promoted teams, we have 29 wins and 3 draws. We have thus equaled Bayern Munich’s record (also 32 games unbeaten against promoted teams).
   

GOAL FACTS

• Benjamin Sesko scored the important 1-0 and thus his 10th goal of the season. It was his 3rd goal in 3 games. Strong! 

  He scored 7 of the 10 goals in the second half of the season. He also scored 7 of the 10 goals away from home
   

• Lois Openda continues to flourish! His winning goal was his 23rd of the season, his 12th goal in the second half of the season and his 8th direct goal-involvement in the last 5 games (6 goals, 2 assists).

• The Openda goal came again after a brilliant counterattack. It was our 14th counter-attacking goal of the season – a Bundesliga high.
   
• The preparatory work for the winning goal was provided by Mohamed Simakan, who came off the bench and provided a lot of hard running. His 3rd assist in the current Bundesliga season.

DEFENSIVE FACTS

• Although we conceded one goal, we still have the second-best defence in the league with only 34 goals conceded.
• Our No.1 Peter Gulacsi remains a points guarantee: 10 games with Pete in the goal, 8 wins, 2 draws, only 6 goals conceded.
