It could soon be time: Oliver Baumann could be about to make his debut for the Germany national team. The TSG Hoffenheim goalkeeper is once again in the squad named by national team coach Julian Nagelsmann. The 34-year-old has been called up for the games in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Friday 11 October at 20:45 CEST) and against the Netherlands (Monday 14 October at 20:45 CEST). Nagelsmann said of the squad: “Oli Baumann has made an outstanding start to the season. He deserves to finally get an international cap. And that shall be the case. We don’t yet know whether one goalkeeper will play two matches or whether two players will play one each.”
We’re proud of you, Oli – you have earned it!
