Eintracht Frankfurt’s U19 side earned a 2-0 victory over Olympique de Marseille to book their place in the UEFA Youth League knockout rounds. Coach Damir Agovic’s charges produced another strong performance at the Ahorn Camp Sportpark and deservedly took maximum points thanks to goals from Mehdi Loune (5’) and Junior Awusi Boddien (83’).

Damir Agovic, Eintracht Frankfurt U19 coach: “First and foremost, we’re very pleased and delighted to have progressed. After five games, we’ve picked up three wins and drawn two games we could and should have won. The lads have been outstanding in the competition so far. They’ve also shown character, fought for one another and given their all.”
