Reitz is Borussia’s Player of the Month for October

Rocco Reitz has been voted as Borussia’s Player of the Month for October, presented by Cichon Personalmanagement. The midfielder beat Jordan, Nico Elvedi and Joe Scally to the award.

Rocco Reitz received around 69% of the fans’ votes on the FohlenApp to comfortably win this month’s award. Jordan came second (26%), with Nico Elvedi (3%) and Joe Scally (2%) finishing third and fourth respectively.

Reitz also won the Player of the Month award in September, with the fans rewarding him for his consistently good performances so far this season. Despite lots of competition, the academy graduate has nailed down a place in central midfield thanks to his tireless commitment, his willingness to cover distance and his ability in individual duels. The 21-year-old started the Bundesliga game against Mainz and both games against Heidenheim, whilst he came on as a substitute at half time in Köln. In all four of these games, Reitz was among the Foals’ players with the most distance covered and the most individual duels won.
