Gladbach begin preparations for final game of the season
A new week of training got underway for the Foals on Tuesday morning, as they start to gear up for their final Bundesliga clash of the season against VfB Stuttgart on Saturday (15:30 CEST).
Assistant coaches Patrick Schnarweiler and Guido Streichbier led the Foals’ first training session of the week, as head coach Gerardo Seoane was feeling under the weather. Marvin Friedrich (tarsal injury) and Franck Honorat (calf strain) sat out of the session on Tuesday, while Grant-Leon Ranos (tarsal injury) and Simon Walde (syndesmosis tear) are still sidelined with injury. Max Wöber and Shio Fukuda both returned to team training.
The Foals will continue to prepare for their final game of the season in Stuttgart on Saturday (15:30 CEST) with another training session at 11:00 CEST on Wednesday. The session will be open to the public, while the Gladbach players will train behind closed doors on Thursday and Friday.
