Borussia season opening on 5 and 6 August

Borussia’s season opening weekend, presented by flatexDEGIRO AG, will take place at BORUSSIA-PARK on Saturday 5th August and Sunday 6th August . The schedule includes a friendly match as part of a colourful programme of events and family day. Jünter Day with the club’s mascot will also take place on the Sunday.

Bundesliga football will return in about two months and to get Foals fans in the mood for the new season, Borussia will host their annual season-opening event with them on the first weekend of August, presented by flatexDEGIRO AG.

As part of this, Borussia will face French first division side HSC Montpellier in a friendly on Saturday 5th August (kick off 15:30 CEST). Tickets are now available in the online ticket shop. There is also reduced admission for season ticket holders and members. Children up to twelve years of age are admitted free of charge when accompanied by at least one paying adult. For children aged 6 to 12, a seat must be selected and the corresponding reduction selected. Children’s tickets will be added automatically in the shopping basket. There will be a lot more on offer to fans during the day, with more information to follow shortly.

The following day, on Sunday 6th August, BORUSSIA-PARK will host the Family Day and Jünter Day. Visitors can expect a colourful programme of events with opportunities to take part, interviews and autograph sessions, as well as first-team training and other activities on the BORUSSIA-PARK pitch. Of course, the youngest VfL supporters can also look forward to an exciting programme as part of the Jünter Day. More information will follow shortly.
