1860 München and VfB Stuttgart the opponents in Heimstetten

At the end of the week-long training camp, the Foals will face VfB Stuttgart and 1860 München in a tournament at Sportpark Heimstetten on Saturday, 29th July, starting at 15:30 CEST.

Each of the three teams will play two games in this pre-season tournament. All matches will be 60 minutes long (2×30 minutes). Borussia will play the first match at 15:00 CEST against the “Lions” from Munich. At 16:15 CEST, the Foals will face Stuttgart, before 1860 München and VfB will play each other in the final match at 17:30 CEST. The Foals will make their way back to Mönchengladbach on Saturday evening from Heimstetten.

• Saturday, 29th July: Tournament in Heimstetten with games against TSV 1860 München (15:00 CEST) and VfB Stuttgart (16:15 CEST)
• Saturday, 5th, and Sunday, 6th August: Start of the season weekend with friendly against HSC Montpellier (Saturday, 15:30 CEST)
• Friday, 11th August, 18:00 CEST: DFB-Pokal first round against Oberliga side TuS Bersenbrück
• Friday, 18th until Sunday, 20th August: Bundesliga matchday 1 against FC Augsburg
