Referee: Stieler in charge

The 42-year-old sports psychologist from Hamburg will be making his 170th appearance in the Bundesliga. Tobias Stieler will referee a game involving BVB for the 25th time. His previous record: 15 wins, four draws and five defeats (most recently away to Union on 16/10/22). He made his BVB debut in the Black & Yellows’ 4-0 away win over Hertha BSC on 10 May 2014. He last oversaw the match in Freiburg which Borussia Dortmund won 4-2 in mid-September. Philipp Hüwe and Marcel Unger will assist on the sidelines, with Christian Dingert on video assistant duty.

The match can be watched live on TV via Sky. The pre-match coverage will start at 14:00 CET and will be presented by Michael Leopold (picture). Dietmar Hamann will be on punditry duty, with Kai Dittmann commentating the game on Sky Sport Bundesliga 3 and Frank Buschmann on the mic in the simulcast.
