FCA to travel to Italy for final friendlies
Game against Napoli a highlight
The final part of FCA’s summer pre-season is now here! Following the family day against Ajax (Saturday, 29th July, 15:00 CEST), this time taking place two weeks before the first competitive game of the season, FC Augsburg will travel to Italy for their final friendlies of pre-season.
Two further interesting games will take place in Italy, following previous friendlies against Besiktas, PSV Eindhoven and Ajax. On Saturday, 5th August (20:30 CEST), Enrico Maaßen’s side will play Serie A side US Salernitana 1919 at the Stadio Arechi in Salerno. The highlight of the trip is a day later on Sunday, 6th August, (18:30 CEST) against current Serie A winners SSC Napoli. The game will be played at the Stadio Teofilo Patini in Castel di Sangro.
After their short trip to Italy, FCA will then have a week to prepare for the DFB-Pokal game against SpVgg Unterhaching (Sunday, 13. August, 15.30 CEST). The first game in the Bundesliga is then the home game at the WWK ARENA against Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday, 19th August, (15:30 CEST).
