Lasse Günther moves on loan to SV Wehen Wiesbaden
Another 2. Bundesliga loan for the 20-year-old
Lasse Günther, who made 16 2. Bundesliga appearances on loan at SSV Jahn Regensburg last season, will once again play in the second division this season. The 20-year-old, who has already made seven Bundesliga appearances for FCA, has moved on loan to newly-promoted club SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
“The last year in Regensburg was good for me despite my injury, especially before the winter break I was able to get some starts under my belt. During my loan to Wehen Wiesbaden I now want to build on exactly this phase and gain as many minutes as possible,” said Lasse Günther.
“Lasse Günther has already shown that he has the potential to play in the Bundesliga. However, for him to consistently play in the Bundesliga he needs a lot more playing experience, so we see a new loan for him as being very sensible,” said Stefan Reuter, FCA’s director for sport. “We wish Lasse Günther all the best and much success in the upcoming Zweitliga season, which starts in just a few days time.”
