FCA players begin pre-season with performance tests
Public training session next week
On Thursday, FC Augsburg conducted internal performance tests at the WWK Arena to kick off their preparations for the 2024/25 season.
Before training officially gets underway on Monday, 8th July, the FCA players were put through their paces. New arrivals Nediljko Labrović, Samuel Essende, Keven Schlotterbeck, Yusuf Kabadayi and Steve Mounié were all present at the WWK Arena. The performance tests will take place over the span of three days, as each player is allocated an individual session.
The squad will be back out on the pitch for the first time next week. All the morning sessions at the WWK Arena’s training pitches (Monday to Friday, 10:30 CEST) will be open to the public.
Jess Thorup’s side will play their first friendly of pre-season against promoted Regionalliga side TSV Schwaben Augsburg on Saturday, 13th July. The match will be held at the Rosenaustadion and is scheduled to kick off at 14:00 CEST.
