The DFL confirmed the exact dates and times of matchdays 1-8 of the 2023/24 Bundesliga season on Wednesday afternoon. Augsburg have five Saturday matches and three Sunday matches to look forward to.

FCA will kick off their campaign at home to Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday, 19th August, 15:30 CEST. They will then face FC Bayern on Sunday, 27th August, 17:30 CEST. The other Sunday matches will take place against Freiburg (A) on matchday 6 (1st October) and Heidenheim (A) on matchday 8 (22nd October).

Augsburg fans also have another three home matches to look forward to, all of which take place on a Saturday. These will be on matchday 3 against VfL Bochum (2nd September, 15:30 CEST), matchday 5 against Mainz 05 (23rd September, 15:30 CEST) and matchday 7 against the newly promoted SV Darmstadt 98 (7th October, 15:30 CEST). The away game against Leipzig on matchday 4 will take place at the same time.
