Nathanaël Mbuku moves to Dinamo Zagreb

Mbuku spent the second half of the 2023/24 season on loan at French side AS Saint-Étienne, scoring four goals and registering two assists in 21 appearances as he played a key role in the side’s promotion to Ligue 1. The winger is now on his way to Zagreb, where he will get the chance to play in the Champions League. Last year’s Croatian champions have been drawn to play the likes of FC Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund in the league phase.

Report: Brazzo’s sacking swings the internal struggle over who Bayern Munich’s future striker should be

That is, if you believed Sport Bild’s recent report, as captured by @iMiaSanMia. Tuchel is reportedly campaigning for Juventus’ striker Vlahović, while former sporting director Hasan “Brazzo” Salihamidžić was “against it.” But, due to the Bosnian getting sacked recently, that voice of dissent against Vlahović will have been quieted. Brazzo himself was a big proponent for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Kolo Muani, who will probably go down the list due to the sacking. Still, Hoeneß remains impressed with the Frenchman, so he’s probably not out of the picture just yet.

SV Werder Bremen

“It was my childhood dream to play in the Bundesliga”

At the end of the transfer window, Derrick Köhn made the switch from Turkish champions Galatasaray to join Werder on loan. “Everything happened very quickly and I’m just pleased that I can start training with everyone now,” joked the 25-year-old. On Sunday, he was already on the training pitch, joining those who also didn’t feature against Dortmund, and on Tuesday he began full first team training. In his interview, the wide player described how he had viewed the Green-Whites’ clash with BVB, which strengths he believes that he can bring to Werder and how it was his childhood dream to play in the Bundesliga.

FC Bayern München

Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka desires no change in scenery

In fact, per @iMiaSanMia on Twitter, the only event that will propel Goretzka to leave Bayern Munich will be the club and Thomas Tuchel letting him know that they are planning without him. That is, of course, the last straw, for any player. Goretzka is ambitious and arguably in his prime years. He would surely want to be at a club which plans with him and perhaps, even around him. As far as Bayern is concerned, he is willing to fight for his place regardless of what happens with the club’s transfers.
