Almost half of the 81,365 fans who usually fill the world’s most beautiful football stadium down to the very last seat take public transport. That was the result of a large-scale survey of visitors to the Bundesliga home match against VfB Stuttgart in autumn 2022. Based on the total number of 1.7 million fans, that means around 800,000 used public transport in the 2022/23 season. The result is a significant reduction of 1,679 tons of harmful emissions.
