Mounié joins the Fuggerstädter after scoring 44 goals and providing 11 assists in 162 Ligue 1 games. The physical forward also featured for English side Huddersfield Town from 2017 to 2020, making 59 appearances in the Premier League. Last season, the 29-year-old scored six goals as he helped Brest to qualification for the Champions League. Mounié is also currently captain of the Benin national side, for whom he has scored 17 goals in 53 caps.
