VfB Stuttgart are further bolstering their presence in children’s and youth football in the USA, and visited the country once again with coaches from the VfB Football School.

Sporting Clube de Braga are regulars on the international stage and have been represented in Europe without interruption since the 2004/05 season. The Portuguese side qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in 2010, finishing 3rd in a group that included Shakhtar Donetsk, Arsenal and FK Partizan before ultimately reaching the Europa League final, which they narrowly lost 1-0 to FC Porto.  

Arsenal did take a punt, though, snapping him up from the South Yorkshire side for £24million. He quickly became the Gunners’ no.1, taking that spot from Bernd Leno.

A native of Bavaria, Ströll was then promoted to an authorised signatory in 2013 and then became the chief commercial officer in 2016. Michael Ströll has been CEO of FCA since the departure of Stefan Reuter in September 2023.

The next match for head coach Ailien Poese’s team is on Sunday, 08.10.2023. At home on the Fritz Lesch Sportplatz, the Eisernen Ladies will welcome the promoted SV Blau Weiss Berolina Mitte 49 for the next Regionalliga Nordost Berlin derby.

Fernandes scored 18 goals and provided 11 assists during the campaign. In all, the attacking-midfielder has been directly involved in 112 goals in 175 games for the Red Devils.

Sebastian Kehl (in the mixed zone): “I would say that it was a bit more even in the second half but overall we hardly allowed the opposition any chances. And the dominance we perhaps had in the first half or for 60 minutes then got lost a little bit. But that’s not a criticism today, it’s ultimately also down to a Hoffenheim team that then threw everything forward once again and threw their physicality at us. They have won all their away matches. I thought we performed very, very well.”
