Over the past few months, the TSG ResearchLab has developed the “Up&Go” app in collaboration with Melissa Böttinger and Professor Clemens Becker from Heidelberg University Hospital. The app is designed to help people over the age of 60 test their strength and balance. The app is very simple to use. Each user receives clear instructions on how to complete the exercise test. All that is needed, apart from the smartphone and the app, is some space and a chair. The result is then shown to the user in the form of a traffic light system.

Borussia Dortmund

“We were there for each other”

Emre Can (to BVB-TV): “It was a decent performance from us in the first half, we could’ve scored more than one goal; in the second, we were there for each other as we have been in the past few weeks too. There was a bit of luck involved too, but Hoffenheim were also lucky, especially in the first half. We have a world-class goalkeeper; we won fortuitously but also deservedly. It feels good to be at the top – but we know: this is only a momentary snapshot.”

A bad end to a good first half of the season

It must be said that there is little joy in the fact that Werder have lost their last four games in the league. At the start of the season, however, many fans would have probably settled for 21 points after 17 games. After the 2-1 defeat to FC Union on Wednesday, Ole Werner discussed his side’s first half of the season. “We know what we are playing for. It has been clear to us from day one that there will be difficult periods.”
