He’s one of the first names on the team sheet for VfB at the moment. Josha Vagnoman has featured in 13 of 17 matches in all competitions and scored his first goal of the current campaign in the 3-2 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt last Sunday. During the international break, the 23-year-old took the time to answer several questions from fans on VfB’s Instagram channel. We’ve put together a selection from the Q&A.
Josha Vagnoman on…
… his best friend in the team: “It’s hard to pick out one best friend, but one group who I’m often out with are Deniz Undav, Jamie Leweling, Ermedin Demirovic and Jeff Chabot.”
… his advice to young players on how to improve: “The most important is to really give 100 percent in every training session and to want to improve. Only that way can you get the best out of yourself. It pays off in the end. I also develop by continually identifying areas that I can improve on and then working on them.”
… his diet for the three mealtimes: “Let’s start with breakfast: I most like to eat porridge oats with milk, fruit and nuts. Lunch usually consists of pasta or rice with fresh vegetables. I also like tofu. My evening meal looks similar – if I eat less at lunchtime, sometimes it will be a bit more in the evening.”
… how he likes it at VfB and in the city of Stuttgart: “I feel very happy at VfB and I really like the city too. I also have a dog, so I like to take advantage of the woodlands around Stuttgart for walks.”
