“Luka developed very well with our U23 team last season and was factored into the first phase of preparations for the first-team squad. When the option of a loan to Ulm came up, we discussed it with Luka and his entourage and made a joint decision to take this path,” explained Pirmin Schwegler, the Head of Professional Football at TSG Hoffenheim.
“For the sake of his further development, it makes sense for Luka to gain experience at a high level. We’ve always had very good experiences with these loans in the past and are confident that this move will pay off for both Luka and TSG,” added Bastian Huber, the Technical Director at TSG.
Luka Hyryläinen moved to the Kraichgau from Eintracht Frankfurt in August 2022.
