VfB finished last season as runners-up. Did you follow the season finale?

Hendriks: “Yes, I watched the last two matches. VfB play in a magnificent stadium with great fans. After such a special season, I can’t wait to experience it for myself.”

What can VfB fans most look forward to from you on the pitch?

Hendriks: “I’m a centre-back by trade, I like to get stuck into the tackles but also like to play the ball. I’m someone who wants to win every match if possible.”

What else is important for you?

Hendriks: “Last season was a special one for VfB. I’m really happy to be here and can’t wait to get to know the team and the staff, train here and play in this magnificent stadium. The most important thing is to settle in well in Stuttgart and have a great season together with the club and the fans.”
