On Thursday, 16.02. 2023, 1. FC Union Berlin will play away against Ajax Amsterdam in the play-offs for the knockout round of the Europa League. Kick off is at 18:45.
Around 2,600 Unioner will make their way to support their team at the Johan Cruijff Arena; the away section is sold out.
Ajax Amsterdam sell their tickets exclusively to season ticket holders and members. These tickets are only available on the Ajax ticketing app, so there are no printed tickets available for the home sections. Counterfeit paper tickets are repeatedly offered in the city, purchase of them is strongly discouraged.

Arrival
- The central meeting point for all away fans will be Dam Square. From there, it is a 900-metre walk to the “Amsterdam Ceentral” station, where special trams will be provided to take you directly to the guest entrance of the stadium.
- It is about 11 kilometres to the Johan Cruijff Arena and the journey takes about 20 minutes.
- For visiting fans arriving by car, there is only public parking at the stadium (not recommended). Buses may be parked near the guest block by prior arrangement.
Stadium access
- The stadium opens at 16:45. It is recommended to be there in time for the stadium opening. Steep stairs make it difficult to enter the stadium and this may cause delays.
- Only bags up to A4 size are allowed, there is no luggage check-in facility.
- In the away fans’ block, payment can only be made by card.
- No Union fan clothing may be worn in the home areas.
Entrances to the away block
- Union fans can enter the away blocks 415, 416 and 417 via entrance area K.
Behaviour in the stadium
- Smoking is not permitted in the stadium.

- For the match in Amsterdam the Szene Köpenick have created a one-off fan article in cooperation with 1. FC Union Berlin. After the T-shirt and rain jackets, this time it is a scarf that will be available at the central meeting point for 10 euros. Those who are not on site can also purchase the scarf from Wednesday in all Union Zeughaus stores.
