Man Utd will want over £100million if they are to part ways with in-form forward Marcus Rashford this summer, according to a report.

Rashford has been one of the best players in the Premier League this term after a rough 2021-22 campaign.

Erik ten Hag is clearly bringing the best out of the England international, who has scored 22 goals and provided eight assists in 35 matches across all competitions this term.

After a solid start to the season, the 25-year-old has gone from strength to strength having scored in eight of his last nine Premier League appearances.

However, Rashford’s future at Old Trafford is up in the air with his contract expiring in 2024.

He was linked with a move to PSG last summer and the French champions are reportedly still in the hunt.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and , though I feel like it is unlikely Rashford would play for another Premier League club.

Man Utd unsurprisingly want the England star to sign a new contract and are reportedly willing to make him their highest earner.

Despite this, Rashford has turned down a couple of contract offers and the chance to earn a staggering £400,000 per week at his boyhood club.

The Red Devils have to consider every possibility and have already set a price-tag ahead of the summer transfer window, should they feel forced to sell the forward.

According to the Daily Star, Man Utd will ask interested clubs to splash out £120m on Rashford.

Should Rashford enter the final 12 months of his contract, it is believed that PSG and Real Madrid will ‘lead the chase’ to sign him, while Barcelona ‘are also watching developments closely’.

The 25-year-old’s performances at the World Cup saw his valuation rise to £80m, but his consistent goalscoring form has resulted in a further £40m being added to that figure.

While results on the pitch have been convincing, it is a very uncertain time at Old Trafford.

Man Utd owners, the Glazer family, are hoping to sell the club and Friday’s ‘soft deadline’ saw takeover bids come in from Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Qatari Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani.

You would expect the new board to prioritise the extension of Rashford’s contract, though anything can happen as the two boyhood Man Utd fans battle it out to buy the club from the Glazers.
