Dusan Vlahovic’s agent is ‘aware’ of interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, according to reports in Italy.

Vlahovic joined Juventus from Fiorentina for around £72million last January after snubbing a move to Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta had put all of his eggs in one basket in the 2022 winter transfer window, but was unable to lure the Serbian international to the Emirates.

Since then, Juventus have crashed out of the Champions League and been hit with a 15-point deduction in the Serie A, meaning qualification for Europe’s premier competition is unlikely.

Meanwhile, the Gunners signed Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City last summer and currently sit top of the Premier League and look well placed to claim their first top-flight title since 2004.

The two sides could meet in the Europa League this term after Juventus overcame Nantes in the first knockout round following their Champions League exit; while Arsenal went straight through to the last 16 – where they face Sporting Lisbon – as group winners.

It is quite surprising to see Vlahovic struggling for the Old Lady when he was banging them in on a weekly basis for Fiorentina.

He has struggled for fitness this season and has only scored in one Serie A game since returning from his most recent setback in January.

Ten goals in 24 matches across all competitions is not a bad return, but Vlahovic’s one goal in five Champions League group stage games was a bitter disappointment.

With Juventus struggling and likely to sell one or two key players at the end of the season, the 23-year-old is once again being linked with a move to the Premier League.

This time, it is Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea who are believed to be interested in signing the striker.

Spanish newspaper AS recently suggested that  during the winter window.

Erik ten Hag is expected to be in the market for a new no. 9 at the end of 2022-23, with the Red Devils also being strongly linked with Napoli hitman Victor Osimhen.

Vlahovic is just that and would be a top signing for either team, but a lot depends on how much Juventus will look to receive if they are open to a sale.

In Tuesday’s printed edition of the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Football Italia), it is claimed that Juve boss Max Allegri is going out of his way to improve Vlahovic’s record in front of goal by giving him ‘as much playing time as possible’.

It is noted that the player’s agent is ‘aware’ of interest from Bayern Munich, United and Tottenham.

Juve ‘won’t stand against’ a ‘big-money offer’ should it come in, though it is noted that ‘the season is long and everything can change quickly’.

Rumours of interest from Spurs comes as a bit of a surprise considering they spent over £50m on Richarlison last summer and have Harry Kane leading the line at this moment in time.

The England captain is facing an uncertain future in north London, however, with his contract set to expire in 2024.

United are also believed to be interested in Kane – should he leave Spurs this summer.
