Premier League side Arsenal are still interested in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic this summer, according to reports.

The Gunners are having a brilliant season in the Premier League with Mikel Arteta guiding them to top spot with eight games to play.

Arsenal are currently six points ahead of second-placed Manchester City but Pep Guardiola’s side have a game in hand.

Arteta will be hoping their brilliant season can help persuade players to sign for the Gunners in the summer .

One player who they could perhaps convince to join them is Vlahovic, who preferred a move to Juventus over Arsenal in January 2022, swapping Fiorentina for the Old Lady.

Vlahovic moved to Juventus for €70m plus €10m in perfomance-related bonuses but things have not gone to plan for Juve since his move.

After winning nine Scudettos in a row between 2011 and 2020, Juventus are now about to make it three years in a row without even making a challenge for the title.

Juventus have still managed to qualify for the Champions League the last two seasons but they are likely to miss out on the top four this term.

And Calciomercato claims that Vlahovic – who has scored 20 goals in 53 matches in all competitions since moving to Turin – is ‘no longer an untouchable’ at the club but will be ‘transferable for no less than €90m (£80m)’.

The Italian publication insists that Arsenal have ‘never given up on the Vlahovic idea since they tried in vain to steal him from Juventus’ while the report also names Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain as potential routes out of the Serie A club.

As well as a striker, it’s known that Arsenal are looking to sign a new midfielder after .

West Ham’s Declan Rice is understood to be top of their list and Daily Mail claims that Arsenal are now ‘favourites’ for the England international ‘after Manchester United tried with a bid last summer’.

The Daily Mail also name Chelsea and Liverpool as possible other destinations for Rice and offer comments from former England midfielder Bryan Robson.
