VfL Wolfsburg already have a new recruit for the 2024/25 season, with midfielder Bence Dardai joining the Wolves from Hertha BSC. The 18-year-old, who has eight appearances to his name in Bundesliga 2 for the capital club plus another in the DFB Cup, has signed a long-term contract with the Green-and-Whites. The attacking midfielder was part of the Germany team that won the U17 European Championship last year.
“We’re delighted that Bence has chosen to join us,” said VfL sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz. “He is a young and highly talented player who has already taken his first steps in professional football with Hertha and shown the quality that he has in the second tier. Bence will have the opportunity to further develop his career at a high level at VfL Wolfsburg, and we intend to give him all the support he needs. We are looking forward to what the future has to offer together.”
