Squad update: With the exception of Marco Friedl (adductor injury), Amos Pieper (broken ankle), Nicolai Rapp (foot injury), and Leon Opitz (torn ligament in foot), all of the Green-Whites are options for the squad. This includes Michael Zetterer, who was forced to cut his training session short in the week, but is now fit to play between the sticks.
Ole Werner on the opposition: “Gladbach play well at home and have good quality in their squad, which is made up of both young and experienced players. They want to play football and are quick up front, which is difficult to defend against, as they like to exploit gaps in behind the defence at pace.”
