Marvin makes his mark

Second-half highlights:

Zetterer makes himself big, and is able to deflect the ball away thanks to his impressive reflexes. The Green-Whites breathe a sigh of relief.

49th minute: 2-1 to Borussia. The hosts complete the turnaround as Rocco Reitz gets his second of the game. Hack sets up the youngster from outside the penalty box, who beats Deman in a 1-v-1 and slots the ball into the bottom corner.

59th minute: Lucky escape for Werder! Koné finds Plea in the middle, who takes aim towards the bottom left corner, but narrowly misses the target.

71st minute: The Green-Whites fire a cross into the box from the right, which finds the head of Stage, but he nods it just wide of the post.

76th minute: The long-awaited equaliser! Jung plays a long ball into Borussia’s box, where an alert Justin Njinmah makes a run in front of Nicolas. He knocks the ball into the path of Ducksch, who slots it into the back of the net.

90th minute +4: Kramer receives a straight red for a foul on Mitchell Weiser, but the decision is overruled by VAR and the Foal is allowed to remain on the pitch.
