Unions dragon boat race

The Eiserne V.I.R.U.S. e.V. invites you to its anniversary! On Sunday, 27 August 2023, it’s time for all Union members to “get paddling” for the 20th time. The traditional dragon boat race will start at 10 am on the regatta course in Grünau. The gates will open for participants around 08:30.

In addition to the racing, there will of course be a colourful supporting programme as usual, so that all “non-paddlers” will also get their money’s worth. The foundation “UNION VEREINT. Schulter an Schulter” foundation will once again be present with a project and donation exchange. Used and new Union fan articles will be on sale for the benefit of the foundation.

The Eisernen Ambassadors will be on site with a creative stand and, as always, food and drink will be provided. The Zeughaus will also be there, offering its wide range of products.

Please note:

Access is only via Adlergestell / Rabindranath-Tagore-Straße. The Sportpromenade is closed.
Parking spaces are hardly available due to construction work on the grounds.
There is a ban on bathing and pyrotechnics.
For technical reasons, the scoreboard will not be available.
