Unioners on the road:

On Wednesday, 20 September 2023, 1. FC Union Berlin will play their first Champions League match away at Real Madrid, accompanied in Spain’s capital by around 4,000 Unioners, 1,300 of whom will travel with the fan fliers chartered by the club.

Below you will find the departure times and further information on the flight to Madrid.

Luggage

Only hand luggage (no larger than 55cm x 40cm x 20cm) is allowed, suitcases or other luggage cannot be checked in. It is not possible to leave hand luggage on the aircraft in Madrid or to hand it in at the stadium entrance. Therefore, it is expressly pointed out that only bags up to a size of DIN A4 are allowed in the stadium.

Transfer

To get from/to the airport in Madrid, public transport must be used. No shuttle service is provided by the club.

Check-in/ flight times

In order to ensure a smooth check-in process for the fan fliers, all Union members are requested to be at the airport in good time. The counters will open three hours before departure and close one hour before. Check-in is only possible with a valid identification document.
