1. FC Union Berlin’s U17 side will go up against some of the best in Europe when the GG8-Youngster Cup takes place on 30 and 31 July in Berlin.
Union will be joined by strong German representation, including Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Hertha. The international flavour is brought by Benfica, Basel, Porto, Marseille and Tottenham Hotspur.
Like last year’s tournament, Saturday’s round of games will be played at the home of FSV Lückenwalde at the Werner-Seelenbinder-Stadion. On Sunday, the players take to the field at the home of Union at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.
The 2021 winners were Hertha Berlin who defeated PSG in the final. Union finished fifth in the overall competition.
Tickets will be 10 euros, concession price 5 euros. Kids up to the age of six have free entry.
