After the games against Hansa Rostock and FC St. Gallen, Union will play one last friendly before the Christmas break on Wednesday, 21 December 2022, against second-division side FC St. Pauli. Kick off at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei is at 13:00.
Opponents with tradition
Union vs Pauli was a classic second division clash in the 2010s. However the two clubs can now only meet in either friendlies or in the DFB Pokal, as was the case for the first time last season. Union won that tie, 2-1 and with the win reached the semi-finals of the Cup for the first time since 2001.
Advance ticketing information
Tickets for the match against Pauli will be available online for Union members from Monday (12:00). Each member can purchase up to two tickets.
However due to the preparations for the Weinachtssingen only seats in the main stand are available. The ticket price is €12*, with free admission for children under 12, though they do require a corresponding free ticket. One free ticket can be booked per full-paying ticket.
Service information
The Alte Försterei will open at 12:00. As Weinachtssingen preparations will also be in at the catering stations, only the Waldseite beer garden will be open. AFTV will broadcast the match live and free of charge. As usual, Union will also provide information on the match via the club’s own live ticker, as well as in English on Twitter.
