Three days before the season opener at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei against Bohemians, 1. FC Union Berlin will head to Eintracht Braunschweig. Urs Fischer’s side will warm-up ahead of the competitive season with a match on Wednesday July 6 at 18:00 at the Eintracht-Stadion.
Michael Schiele has guided Eintracht back into the 2.Bundesliga following a stint out of the top two divisions. Eintracht Braunschweig boasted a terrific record in the 2021/22 season, picking up 64 points and managing to stay ahead of third-placed Kaiserslautern. The last time Eintracht Braunschweig competed in the Bundesliga was the 2013/14 campaign.
