Union Berlin add Behrens to first-team squad

1. FC Union Berlin have strengthened their attacking options ahead of the Bundesliga season with the addition of Kevin Behrens from 2.Bundesliga outfit SV Sandhausen.

The 30-year-old striker has scored 31 goals for Sandhausen in the second division since his arrival in 2018. He scored goals previously in the 3.Liga – his overall tally is 41 goals in 85 matches for Sandhausen. Behrens previously pulled on the jerseys of Rot-Weiß Essen, 1. FC Saarbrücken, Alemannia Aachen, Hannover U23s, Werder Bremen and SV Wilhelmshaven.

Of course, I still know Union from our games together in the second division and I’m looking forward to playing regularly at Stadion An der Alten Försterei soon.
