Rani Khedira Banned for Three Matches

The German Football Association (DFB) have handed 1. FC Union Berlin midfielder Rani Khedira a three-match ban following his recent red card.

The 29-year-old was sent off in the 60th minute of Union’s match away at SV Werder Bremen after a foul on opponent Romano Schmid. The Bremen midfielder was able to continue the game and also accepted Khedira’s apology after the final whistle.
