When 1. FC Union Berlin host Heidenheim and Dortmund at the An der Alten Försterei stadium over the next two weekends, all S-Bahn users must be prepared for longer arrival and departure times. S-Bahn services will be interrupted between Karlshorst and Rahnsdorf on these two matchdays, and a rail replacement service with buses has been set up.
On both match days, 1. FC Union Berlin will operate additional shuttle buses in cooperation with S-Bahn Berlin GmbH to facilitate travel to the match. The buses will run before the game between 12:00 and 15:30 and after the game between 17:15 and 19:30 pm every six minutes and without intermediate stops between Karlshorst S-Bahn station and An der Wuhlheide.
You can board the bus at Karlshorst S-Bahn station in Treskowallee (direction Schöneweide) behind the railroad overpass. After the game, the shuttle buses will be waiting at the temporary bus stop at An der Wuhlheide / Straße zum FEZ for departure in the direction of Karlshorst S-Bahn station.
When traveling to and from the match, all stadium visitors are asked to take into account the limited capacity of the SEV and to use alternative transport connections if possible. Alternatively, the journey to Köpenick can also be made by Undreground line 5 via Elsterwerdaer Platz. From there, bus line X69 serves Köpenick station. From S Mahlsdorf it is possible to take the number 62 tram.
There are only very limited parking spaces available around the An der Alten Försterei stadium. Despite the restrictions on public transport, it is not advisable to travel by car. All visitors to the match are strongly advised to allow considerably more time for their journey in order to arrive at the stadium as stress-free and punctually as possible.
