Back on the pitch
Thursday’s match will be the Union women’s first appearance since their 4-0 victory over Rostocker FC at the end of last season. Head coach Ailien Poese has this to say entering the contest: “We are looking forward to our first friendly against the Polish first division team Pogon Szczecin. Our first week of training was intense, but we practiced the fundamentals and are ready to showcase them during the match.”
The Eisernen have been training for ten days, and now want to display their talent on the pitch with a strong performance.
