Thomas Kastanaras moves on loan to SSV Ulm

VfB have loaned Thomas Kastanaras to SSV Ulm 1846 until the end of this season. After arriving at Stuttgart in 2012, the 20-year-old forward progressed through all the age groups at VfB and made his Bundesliga debut on 17 September 2022. However, he was sidelined for several months of 2023 by a metatarsal fracture.

Kastanaras, who’s under contract at VfB until 30 June 2025, has made a total of four Bundesliga appearances.

VfB sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth: “Game time is hugely important for Thomas’ continued development. As an ambitious third-division club, SSV Ulm is a good place for that. We’ll pay close attention to Thomas’ progress in the coming months and wish him and Ulm a successful second half of the season.”
