Serhou Guirassy is back in Stuttgart and participating in parts of first-team training again. After training on his own for several weeks due to an adductor injury, the striker took part in several exercises alongside his team-mates at the club’s Mercedesstraße training ground on Tuesday. “It’s important for me to be able to train with my team-mates again, even if it’s just a small part of training at the moment,” said Guirassy. “I’m pleased about that and hope it continues that way.”
Last week, the 27-year-old visited his international team-mates in Guinea alongside Martin Franz, head of prevention and rehabilitation at VfB. “It was a very enjoyable time,” added Guirassy. “I worked very well with Martin. I’m already feeling a lot better now. The national team registered two important wins. I’m grateful to the club for letting me travel to the national team.”
