RB Leipzig In The Race To Host European Final

Hosting a final!

RB Leipzig is one of the candidates to host the finals of the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2026 and 2027. The German Football Association (DFB) submitted the application to UEFA in Nyon today, and Leipzig was the proposed site!

In total, the DFB is applying to host European Cup finals in three potential locations. While Leipzig are in the race to host the final of the Europa Conference League in 2026 and 2027, Eintracht Frankfurt are also proposed candidates to host the UEFA Europa League final for those years, and VfB Stuttgart is a candidate for the UEFAWomen’s Champions League finals in the MHPArena.

UEFA will decide on the final locations for both years in May 2024.
