• “We kept a clean sheet and scored three goals, so I’m very pleased. I thought we were lacking a bit of intensity in one or two situations in the first half, but we did better in the second half in this regard. 

  We need to keep working on our set-pieces, but I’m pleased that two of our new signings got on the scoresheet in Lois Openda and Benjamin Sesko. It was a solid friendly performance, but we also know to keep in mind that this was just a friendly.

  We’ve got a lot of quality in our side, but our combination play on the pitch isn’t quite perfect yet, which is completely normal for a team that’s signed lots of new players. However, we’re motivated and really looking forward to the matches against Bayern München and Leverkusen. Bayern are really tough opposition, but we believe in ourselves and really want to win the Supercup.”
