TSG Hoffenheim will also have representatives in Egypt to present the club’s diverse commitments in this area. Managing Directors Jan Mayer and Stefan Wagner, TSG’s CSR representatives, will travel to the land on the Red Sea to share TSG Hoffenheim’s contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with numerous international business representatives and to attend the UN Climate Change Conference.
“How does a village like Hoffenheim succeed in making its mark in a global context, having started with attitude geared toward tapping into our own potential? What does the development of a talent like Tom Bischof have to do with the path towards reducing our emissions?” Jan Mayer tackles questions like these in the film “Building a Bridge and TSG’s Key Contribution to Vision 2045”, which will be presented at the Summit on 7 November and produced specifically for this purpose.
“We are all called upon to make a contribution to social cohesion and sustainable development to help stop climate change,” says Stefan Wagner, emphasising the responsibility that TSG also shares: “We call it a common value approach, which we use to bring together the development of TSG and social perspectives. Ultimately, it’s about shaping football in such a way that it maintains its social acceptance and relevance.”
