Three times makes it tradition: After 2022 and 2023, TSG Hoffenheim are once again preparing for the new season in Kitzbühel in the summer of 2024. Following the bus journey from the Kraichgau, coach Pellegrino Matarazzo’s squad arrived in Austria on Saturday afternoon.
The coach summoned his players onto the pitch for an approximately 70-minute session at 17:00 CEST. As they completed various drills, the TSG players worked up a sweat in Kitzbühel for the first time. Among the group were EURO returnees Florian Grillitsch and Andrej Kramarić. Maximilian Beier and Oliver Baumann will follow suit on Tuesday, by which point all the players will be back.
TSG will be preparing for the 2024/25 season in Kitzbühel up until next Saturday (3 August). It will be a special season for Andrej Kramarić & Co., as Hoffenheim will be represented on the European stage for the fourth time in the club’s history – in time to mark the club’s 125-year anniversary.
During the training camp, TSG Hoffenheim will contest two friendly fixtures. TSG will take on Norwich City in St. Johann at 18:00 CEST on Tuesday. Hoffenheim will then round off the camp with a game against Ipswich Town in Kufstein (Saturday at 13:30 CEST).
