When Bundesliga football had to be played in empty stadiums, the special audio offering proved to be a means of transporting the stadium experience from the PreZero Arena and all the other grounds in Germany to homes via radio reporting. The listener figures were correspondingly high during this period.
Unfortunately, this development did not continue after corona. There have since only been very low – and in some cases barely quantifiable – listener figures, prompting the club to decide to discontinue TSG.Radio with a heavy heart.
Anyone not wanting to miss out on radio coverage of TSG matches going forward will find what they are looking for each weekend in the Sportschau app, for example. You can listen to all TSG games there via a live audio stream.
