Mathilde Janzen to leave for Bremen

U19 international Mathilde Janzen will leave TSG Hoffenheim over the winter break and join league rivals SV Werder Bremen. The 18-year-old was promoted to the Bundesliga squad from the U20s in the summer but has not yet made an appearance in the top flight. The midfielder, who moved to the Kraichgau from Kristanstads DFF in 2021, has made 40 appearances in the Women’s Bundesliga 2 for the Hoffenheim U20s. She has scored eight goals.

Weghorst out until end of year

Wout Weghorst, who had to be substituted off with an injury in TSG Hoffenheim’s 3-1 win over VfL Bochum, will not be available for the final two games of the year away to RB Leipzig (16/12) and at home to SV Darmstadt 98 (19/12). The Dutchman has sustained a muscle fibre tear in his left adductor. Get well soon, Wout!

Kramarić makes Team of the Round

He was involved in almost all of TSG’s dangerous attacking moves – and has now also scored against the final missing Bundesliga club that he has played against: Andrej Kramarić was rewarded for his outstanding performance against VfL Bochum with a place in the Team of the Round by specialist magazine kicker. Many congratulations, Andrej!
