1. FC Köln have loaned out Faride Alidou from Eintracht Frankfurt. The 22-year-old made 15 appearances in the Bundesliga in the past season for Eintracht (one assist), as well as featuring five times in the UEFA Champions League (one goal).

FC Managing Director, Christian Keller said: “Faride has a lot of potential. His strengths are his tempo, his willingness to run deep and to go into one-on-ones. Like every young player, Faride has areas where he needs to work on in order to reach a good, constant Bundesliga level. We have therefore shown him a clear plan, how we want to work with him and what he needs to bring to the table. There was an agreement on both sides. For that reason, we are pleased that Faride is now part of our team.”

The fact that the club shows faith in young players was clear to see in the past two seasons. It was important for me to have a good feeling and, at the same time, it is huge motivation to player here and help FC to have a good Bundesliga season.”
