Borussia Dortmund will play against 1. FC Heidenheim at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK on Friday. Kick-off is at 20:30 CET. We have compiled all the info on our Bundesliga home game in a compact format below. This page will be updated if there is any news.

Line-up: Füllkrug in the squad

All the players are fit with the exception of Julien Duranville, Thomas Meunier (both fitness training) and Giovanni Reyna (lack of fitness). Having signed 24 hours ago, Niclas Füllkrug is immediately in the matchday squad but joins Mats Hummels and Felix Nmecha on the bench. Niklas Süle and Karim Adeyemi start instead.

Bor. Dortmund: Kobel, Wolf, Süle, Schlotterbeck, Bensebaini, Can, Sabitzer, Brandt, Malen, Haller, Adeyemi

Tickets: Individual places via the “Secondary Market”

SIGNAL IDUNA PARK is sold-out. Tickets holders who cannot make it at short notice can still use the BVB Secondary Ticket Market up until 18:00 CET on Friday and therefore give other fans the opportunity to go to the stadium. A few individual seats were still available on Thursday morning.

Arrival and departure: Station at the stadium closed

The stretch of railway between Dortmund Hbf and Dortmund-Hörde, where the station “Signal Iduna Park” is located, is closed due to renovation work. More here.

Referee: Reichel to referee for second time

Tobias Reichel, 38, from Sindelfingen will oversee his 27th top-flight game and his second match involving Borussia Dortmund (BVB 3-0 Bielefeld, Feb. 2021). Guido Kleve (Nordhorn) and Frederick Assmuth (Cologne) will assist on the sidelines. Guido Winkmann (Kerken) will be the video assistant.

Good omen: Friday evening, floodlights…

Borussia have not lost any one of their last 33 Friday evening matches at their own stadium. The last defeat on this day of the week came against Schalke on 30 January 2004. In the almost 20 years that have followed, there have been 25 BVB victories and eight draws. BVB have won their last six home Friday games in a row and last dropped points in November 2019 (3-3 draw against Paderborn having been 3-0 down).

Live broadcast: DAZN & Net Radio

The match can be watched live on TV via DAZN. The pre-match coverage starts at 19:45 CET. Presenter Alex Schlüter will oversee the programme. The action will be commentated by Jan Platte and Sandro Wagner (picture). The BVB Net Radio will give you the usual Black & Yellow take, with Norbert Dickel and Boris Rupert on the microphone. Match highlights as well as the press conference and match reactions will be available on BVB TV, among others.

Live Ticker: Over to the app

BVB’s digital channels operate at full throttle on matchday. And that’s not only the case during the match, but throughout the matchday too – starting at 09:09 CET of course. In “Matchday Mode”, the BVB app offers news, pictures, posts, videos, statistics and plenty more match info besides. The live ticker starts at kick-off and updates you on all the important moments. In addition to the live ticker, there will be full match highlights, statistics and first-hand info on our social media channels Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. The quickest match report in the league can be found on the app and online at bvb.de seconds after the final whistle. That will then be followed by match reactions and facts on our website.

Special offer: 19.09% discount

In order to facilitate the journey to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK and admission into the stadium, we recommend arriving at the stadium early. We would like to reward early birds with a special offer: there will be a 19.09% discount on food and drinks up until 90 minutes before kick-off – in other words, up until 19:00 CET on Friday – at our stadium kiosks. By entering the stadium early, you will be helping us to reduce queues at the entrances and kiosks during peak times.

Kits: Heidenheim to wear all white

Borussia Dortmund will line up as per usual for a home game: yellow shirts, black shorts and yellow socks. The visitors from Heidenheim will wear all-white strips.

Weather: Rain to let up in the evening

The weather forecast for Friday: wet, heavy showers at times. The skies are expected to clear somewhat towards the evening. 17 degrees at kick-off, the probability of rain will then only be 20%.
