Fan information for the friendly in Erfurt

On Saturday, 22 July, BVB will play a friendly match at Rot-Weiß Erfurt as part of preseason preparations. The away sections F, G and H will open at 14:30 CET. Kick-off at the Steigerwaldstadion is scheduled for 16:30 CET. We have compiled relevant information for you below.

Arriving by car

There are only very limited parking spaces available in the area around the stadium.

A residents’ protection concept is in force. As a result, there will be a traffic ban and restrictions on road traffic in the neighbouring residential areas. Only residents will be able to enter and park in the zones. Please avoid the area as far as possible.

Take the A4 Autobahn exit Erfurt-Ost and turn left onto the L1052 towards Erfurt.
Follow L1052 for 7.1 km
Turn left onto Häßlerstraße
After 1.5 km continue on Johann Sebastian Bach Straße
After 280 m turn left onto Stadionallee/Leichtathletikhalle

Arriving by public transport

Arriving by train and urban light rail:

Tram line 1 towards Thüringenhalle: Get off at Landtag/Stadion Nord stop
Tram line 2 in the direction of Wiesenhügel: Get off at the Tschaikowskistraße stop.
Tram line 3 in the direction of Urbicher Kreuz: Get off at the Tschaikowskistraße stop.

The entrance and exit to the away section is via Stadionallee and is reserved exclusively for Borussia Dortmund fans.

Parking options

A small number of parking spaces for cars are available in Stadionallee, in the multi-storey car park “Am Stadion” and on Johann Sebastian Bach Straße.

Buses and minibuses can park in Stadionallee.
