BVB will play against TSV Schott Mainz in the first round of the DFB-Pokal on Saturday 12/08 at 15:30 CET. Approximately 11,000 BVB fans will support the team at the Mewa Arena. We have compiled the most important info for you.
Travel
Travel by car:
- No parking spaces for cars are available at the Mewa Arena. The free-of-charge Park & Ride car park at the Messe (Genfer Allee, 55129 Mainz) can be used. Numerous shuttle buses will run from there.
- In Mainz, there is an environmental zone that may only be entered with a green sticker. The Messe car park is not affected by this.
Travel by bus/nine-seater:
- Parking spaces for buses are available at the away block (P9). The fee is €20 per bus and €10 for each nine-seater.
- The only entrance is via Koblenzer Straße (Lerchenberg exit).
Travel by train/public transport:
- The official shuttle bus to the stadium can be taken from the main train station.
- Tram lines 51 and 53 take you to the tram stop for the stadium: Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena
- Buses 54, 55, 56, 58, 62, 74, 91 and 93 run to the stop: “Kisselberg”
Admission
- The stadium opens two hours before kick-off, i.e. at 13:30 CET.
- Users of Print@Home tickets should bring them in paper form.
- The inspection of materials will take place in an area separated by a fence on P9, directly next to the away entrance.
Permitted fan items:
- 3 megaphones
- 15 swivel flags
- 5 drums (open, interior visible)
- Flags with a pole length of up to 2m
- Double-holders
- Fence flags (may not be hung over the advertising hoardings and the emergency exit)
Forbidden items:
- Rucksacks and bags larger than DIN-A4 size
- Professional cameras with interchangeable lenses with a focal length of over 200 mm and other interchangeable lenses, as well as video cameras
Further info on admissions:
- There is no fixed blood-alcohol level limit for entry to the stadium, but visibly drunk people will not be admitted to the stadium.
- It is not permitted to bring drinks with you. Tetra Paks up to 250 ml are exempt from this.
Stadium
- There is the possibility to deposit rucksacks and bags (larger than 30 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm) free of charge prior to admission, as they cannot be brought into the stadium with you.
- The blocks J, K, L (standing) and F to L (seated) are part of the away sector.
- In the away sector, you can pay via cash card, EC (debit) card or credit card. It is also possible to pay with Google Pay and Apple Pay. It is not possible to pay with cash.
